Story in Progress

My name is Nicolas, but everybody calls me Niko. I'm 24 years old, grew up in Paris, currently living in London, and for as long as I can remember, I've always liked doing things differently and being different.

From a young age I had a restless mind that never accepted that there was only one way to do things. I learned that the rules were more like guidelines, and that the real game was in how creatively you could navigate them. That curiosity, that slight obsession with finding another way, became the lens through which I see everything.

I never really loved school, or being told to do things I didn't choose or understand. But I've always loved figuring things out on my own terms. I still managed to get into some of the most prestigious universities in the world, through hard work and more late night sessions than I care to remember, and I had that chance thanks to my family. I went from Paris to Exeter to London, not because I followed a plan, but because I kept finding the next door worth opening. Along the way I learned a lot about me, from my mistakes, I also learned two languages, became fluent in one, met amazing people, discovered new passions, co-founded a startup, and discovered AI before it was everywhere.

What has always driven me as much as anything else is people. I genuinely believe you become who you surround yourself with, and I've always invested in relationships the same way I invest in ideas. I thrive in a team, I love taking the lead while bringing others along, and I love learning from people. I have an entrepreneurial mindset, a constant appetite to grow, and a deep curiosity for different cultures, different ways of thinking, and the stories that come with them. The world is too big and too interesting to stay in one lane.

Each of those things shaped a very specific way of seeing the world, one that values boldness, daring to try, and dreaming big. I know the destination. I just haven't found my path yet, and I'm okay with that, because I'm curious, I have ideas, I'm trying things, and I won't give up until I get there. This is the quest.
